Peter Max (b. 1937) gave the 1960s its palette — cosmic rainbows, doves and Liberty Heads that made him one of the most widely collected living American artists, with commissions ranging from the U.S. Postal Service to six presidents. His acid-bright canvases and overpainted prints remain instantly recognizable across five decades. We hold one of the larger Max inventories in the Southeast, from signed editions to unique overpaints.
